MST Integrates Support for Kozen Terminals in JoinPOS Software

As part of its ongoing development, MST has added support for Kozen terminals in its cross-platform JoinPOS software. While Kozen is a relatively new brand, it has quickly gained a strong reputation in the Russian market. As a subsidiary of Chinese tech giant XC TECH, Kozen benefits from its parent company's expertise in research, development, and quality control. Now, JoinPOS users can take advantage of Kozen’s P10f and P12 terminals to accept payments via bank cards, the Faster Payments System (FPS), and even biometric methods.

Both Kozen models are equipped with high-performance hardware and run on Android 11. They also feature high-quality front cameras, making biometric payments easy to process. Each terminal comes with a smart telescopic stand for convenient placement at checkout.

JoinPOS offers multiple modes of operation on Kozen terminals:

  1. Standalone mode: The device functions as a regular smart terminal.
  2. Pin-pad mode with cash registers: The terminal connects to POS systems like Iiko, 1C, Atol, and Evotor via the proprietary JoinPROTO protocol, serving as a pin-pad.
  3. Pin-pad mode with vending machines: The terminal connects to vending machines via MDB, using JoinPROTO, and acts as a pin-pad.

In addition to hardware support, JoinPOS introduces built-in biometric payments. Thanks to the collaboration between the National Payment Card System (NSPK) and the Center for Biometric Technologies (CBT), a new platform for biometric payments was launched in Russia in 2024. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that customers from any bank can make purchases with any biometric payment provider connected to the platform. Essentially, it acts as a bridge between various banks' biometric payment infrastructures.

JoinPOS is one of the first solutions in Russia to fully integrate with banks' biometric systems, enabling businesses to adopt biometric payments quickly and efficiently.
