April 5, 2022, Moscow. The Radisson Slavyanskaya business center opened its doors for exhibitors. More than 70 companies and 50 speakers from Russian and foreign companies took part in the exhibition this year. MST, being a long-term partner of the exhibition, presented visitors with a cozy branded stand, and of course its latest products and services.
As before, the main topic of the Online & Offline Retail Forum is the development prospects and novelties of the retail sector. In 2022, many interesting topics were presented, which, on the one hand, are aimed at adapting companies to the new world reality, and, on the other hand, offer new and innovative solutions for the effective development of retail. For example, forum speakers offered discussions on the following topics:
- Force majeure change in retail. What happened and how will retail trade change over the next 6 months?
- State regulation of trade margins. How do we operate in the current environment?
- Digital transformation of retail. New strategy and practice based on the results of the coronacrisis and special operation
- Biometrics and identification. Prospects and disappointments.
- Banks and retail. Acquiring and QR payments. Where are we heading? What will we give up?
- Payment instruments in retail.
This year, we presented several areas at the MST stand at once, including: SoftPOS and an online checkout for retail, the JoinPAY omnichannel payment platform, as well as custom development of software solutions and neural networks. During the exhibition, we held a lot of live presentations, where you could evaluate the work and quality of JoinPAY products. The demo covered all aspects of how our payment solutions. Also, the guests of the MST booth could evaluate our scientific activities. We presented case studies on software development on the big screen, as well as mini-lectures on the application of mathematical models to solve business problems.
MST also held a number of negotiations with foreign partners, including such giants as payment equipment supplier Fujian Newland Payment Technology (China), payment equipment supplier Feitian Technologies (China), as well as banking equipment manufacturer Hyosung Corporation (South Korea). In the process of negotiations, we discussed potential points of interaction both in the Russian and foreign markets, where MST is present.
So, the 8th International Online & Offline Retail PLUS-Forum has ended. This year it has been very busy. We met a lot of interesting colleagues from different companies and industries. And our booth aroused unexpectedly great interest among almost all forum participants, as a result of which, MST received several offers of cooperation at once, including from foreign companies. Well, we just have to thank the organizers and participants of the exhibition, and say: “See you at the next exhibitions”!
