Most important update of RetailBUD in 2018

At the end of this year, we would like to sum up some results on RetailBUD, as well as present you our biggest update for this year. Over the last seven months of development, RetailBUD has become one of the most functional and technologically advanced systems on the market. For all the development time, we begin as a small cloud service for accounting of cash and non-cash payments for city transport, and now we became a multifunctional back office for transport companies. And most importantly, we are not going to rest on our laurels, and in the new year we will present many unique functions, many of which have no analogues on the world market.

So, let's consider our last update in more detail. In addition to a large number of cosmetic improvements and bug fixes, we did three very important things.

  1. Added a system of electronic travel card with a personal account for passengers.
  2. Created a system of standardized automatic reports for the cashiers of the transport company.
  3. Completely reworked the technical support section.

The most global part of this update is electronic travel cards. Travel card is a plastic card with Mifare technology support. Buying our travel card, passenger gets access to the personal account, where he can replenish the travel card using a bank card, as well as view a current balance of his travel card. Passenger personal account is embedded in the current website of the company, so the transport company receives a seamless tool for working with travel cards. Also, the travel card can be recharged by conductor in a bus, using cash or a bank card. After the first payment, the card will be automatically added into the Travel Cards section in RetailBUD. Employees of the transport company can also add and disable travel cards in manual mode. Each travel card has information on the status of activity, date, denomination, as well as information on the number of completed and remaining trips.

Reports are the most important component of the internal economic activity of any transport enterprise. And now RetailBUD allows you to automate reporting and thus significantly reduce the time for its preparation. At the same time, using reports requires absolutely no special knowledge and is performed step by step.

Currently you can use two standardized reports:

  1. Open sheet - displays data on the number of sold tickets, as well as the amount received by each conductor of the company for the specified date.
  2. Ticket Registration Sheet - displays data on the number of tickets sold and the proceeds in cash and non-cash payments, for a specific conductor on a specified date.

The Technical Support Section has also undergone significant changes, which relate mainly to the administrative part. Now, instead of the RetailBUD administration panel, all tickets immediately fall into our internal incident management system, which is used for all MST projects.

However, the client side also undergone with some changes. First of all, the frontend has changed significantly. The interface has become nicer and simpler, for the convenience of viewing, we have added a small filter that allows sorting tickets by status. In any case, an employee of an enterprise can still create a request, describing the problem, assign priority, track the status, view the responses from the support and leave comments.
